This is my skateboard design. I chose to use purple and green, complementary colors.. I wanted to make it "stand out" so I drew a kind of explosion with zig-zag lines... I used sharpies and and some markers to do this project.
This is my 1-point perspective room drawing. I am extremely proud of my shading...it keeps getting better!! I made this room up completely, but incorporated some of my own room into it(the ribbons). I tried to make this room like a hang out room w/ the bean bag chair, couch, and huge plasma tv. I really like how the rug looks with the dark circles...
This is my second portrait this year. This, too, is a pencil drawing. I felt that my shading(esp. in the hair) was a lot better than my first portrait. The contrast between the dark hair and fair skin make her facial features stand out.
This is my first art project of the year. I drew this profile with a pencil. I wasn't too confident with the shading, but I tried. I also had a difficult time drawing the braid... Oh, well. At the end, I think it turned out pretty well!! I do think that the blending of her hair was good and that I really captured the emotions in her eyes...
